Is it just me, or did it seem like Nagato gave up too quickly in deferring responsibility to Naruto? Says Nagato, “Oops, I was wrong to brutalize 8 tailed beasts and kill entire villages (including yours)…so let me make it up to you by reviving the last 100 people I killed.” Says Naruto, “Thanks! You’re off the hook then.”

Kakuzu vs. Hidan/Shikamaru - interesting fight.  I don’t recall Chouji jumping into the fight in the manga…I guess this is another one of those small manga/anime differences.  Same with the Hokage’s 24-hour limit imposed on Naruto-kun.

Start

Yamato is presenting a dumbed-down lecture of the 5 elements to Naruto-kun.  The cute ochibi videos explaining this is a nice touch.

Shazam!!!  Kakashi-sensei uses Raikiri on Kakuzu’s heart.  One Akatsuki down!  Such is the power of Sharingan Kakashi!!!

Or is he down???  Kakuzu lands a powerful kick on Kakashi that sends him flying.  Who will prevail in the battle of the Kaks?

One of my pet peeves is overexplanation during an actual fight.  Why does Kakashi have to explain his reading hand signals during the fight.  And why does Kakuzu have to take off his shirt (and signal to Team 10 that he has 4 hearts).  Argh!!!

Crap, Shikamaru’s hold on Hidan is done.

Crap, Kakuzu’s 4 things are now out of body and ready to fight.  Don’t they kind of look like Bleach’s Menos Grande?

Make that 3 things.  The first one is dead.

Crap!  Need to clear the field?  Use your super duper Wind technique.

Crap!  He has a super duper Lightning technique too.

Crap!  He has a super duper Fire technique too.

And cue the ending song with the lovely Naruto ladies Sakura, Ino, and Kurenai-sensei.
